Hello, I'm Werneri, and I live in Finland. I currently work as a software engineer at UpCloud. I work with managed services such as Object Storage, Databases, Load Balancer and Kubernetes. Here are a few things that interest me, to give you an idea of who I am:

• Hockey. I follow mostly NHL and Liiga.
• Formula 1, WRC
• Racket sports: Tennis and Padel
• Video games. I play with PC.
• Series and Movies. I consider myself as picky when it comes to watching :D.
• Technology. Software, hardware, data, gadgets, pretty much everything.
• Fishing and boats.

And here is a brief rundown of my current projects, ideas and learnings:

• Golang.
• Fishing log: Build fishing log app for own use to track catches.
• Self made hockey fantasy app.
• Automation with n8n.
• Self hosting.

This website was created primarily to provide information about me, but I might start writing about my hobbies at some point — who knows?

You can find some of my projects on my GitHub profile but most of the repos are private because I never finished those :D (or is just old and/or uni courses related)

For technical people, this static website is built with Next.js, tailwindcss and hosted on UpCloud (for obvious reasons)
